Prerna Bhasin is the EVP of Legal & Collections at Kinara Capital, where she provides leadership and strategic direction to the business’s overall collections program. She is responsible for optimizing collections performance, enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and upholding governance standards to contribute to the overall success and financial health of the organization. She also oversees the development and implementation of technology solutions and tools to enhance collection processes and efficiency.

With over 22 years of experience in collections, risk management, fraud prevention, compliance, and customer service, she has extensive expertise in overseeing diverse portfolios, including secured, unsecured, rural, and digital lending. She has successfully implemented AI-based collection strategies, digital integrations, and fraud control measures that have significantly reduced delinquency rates and fraud instances.

Her experience spans various roles in leading financial institutions and companies, including Arthmate Tech Pvt Ltd, Flipkart India Pvt Ltd, Larsen & Toubro Financial Services, Axis Bank, ING Vysya Bank Ltd, and TCS (formerly Citigroup Global Services). Her past experience has equipped her with in-depth knowledge of collections, risk management, call center management, P&L management, budget forecasting, and strategy planning.

Prerna holds a PGDM in Marketing & Advertising from the University of Mumbai and a Bachelor in Science in Nutrition, Dietetics, Chemistry & Zoology from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore.
