Khyati Shah is the EVP of Corporate Marketing & Social Governance at fintech Kinara Capital. In her role, she oversees Digital Lead-Generation, Advertising, Branding, Public Relations, Social Media, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Thought Leadership Content, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Customer Marketing, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
Khyati joined Kinara Capital in 2019 and forged a new identity for the company, starting with the rebranding of its logo and messaging. Khyati built the company’s online presence from scratch by creating a new website, establishing multiple social media channels, as well as expanding Kinara’s digital footprint via SEO. By advocating for digital lead generation, Khyati and her team have added a new revenue stream and were critical in providing the UI design and translations for the myKinara App. Khyati and her team led the selection of Brand Ambassador Ravindra Jadeja to popularize the accessibility of the myKinara App with two ad campaigns.
Khyati has established Kinara’s leadership presence by securing global coverage in leading media outlets in India, the USA, and Europe including CNBC, Financial Times, Le Temps, Forbes, Economic Times, and many more. Kinara Capital has been recognized with 30 prominent awards during this time and the leadership team is sought after to participate in top-notch international industry events, such as SOCAP and Global Fintech Fest.
In addition, Khyati launched Kinara’s CSR program which has led to the betterment of women micro-entrepreneurs. She is overseeing the company’s ESG initiatives and led the Smart Campaign certification and Social Impact Rating process for the company.
Khyati brings more than 20 years of experience to her role, most of which was spent in leading Communications for disruptive tech in Silicon Valley. Khyati has broad-based communications and marketing expertise in devising and executing strategic campaigns for start-ups and large companies including for Apple, Bose, and Visible. Khyati has long been involved with social impact and volunteering efforts. She has provided pro-bono mentoring in social impact incubator programs at Stanford University and at the University of Santa Clara. She was named among the Top 100 Digital Marketers by AdLift.
Khyati holds a double-major B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from Knox College in Illinois, USA. She completed her MBA from a joint program from Columbia Business School and UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, USA.
