Arunprakash Srinivasarao Korati

Arunprakash Srinivasarao Korati is the Director of Investments at British International Investment PLC (“BII”).

Arun currently serves as a Director on BII’s Infrastructure team, with a specific focus on Ayana Renewable, BII’s renewable energy platform in India. He works closely with the Chief Investment Officer’s team, to provide insight and guidance on our investments in South Asia.

He has nearly 29 years of experience in the Indian private equity space, with a track record of managing investments across diverse disciplines, including startups, growth private equity, public markets, infrastructure, and real estate. Prior to rejoining BII, where he previously worked, he held significant roles at IL&FS Private Equity arm and also led Axis Bank’s private equity arm. Since 2016, he has played a key role at BII, initially as CEO of Ayana Renewable Energy. His diverse background includes leadership roles in Euronext-listed Real Estate Fund, Axis Private Equity Limited, New Vernon hedge fund, and IL&FS. Arun has managed over 50 successful investments, recently serving on the board of Quality Care Hospitals, Hyderabad.

Arun holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore, and a Masters in Marketing Management from NMIMS. He is also a qualified Cost Accountant and a Civil Engineer.
