Social Media Specialist

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 8+ years of Social Media experience, preferably with exposure in the field of Technology, Finance, or B2B services

  • Must be creative, flexible and possess strong copywriting skills

  • Must be very organized, clear in communication and willing to problem-solve

  • Must be a team-player, willing to support other team members and team or company priorities as necessary

  • Knowledge of Canva, Adobe and basic video/photo taking skills is a plus

  • Take a brief writing and strategy test to showcase style, thought process, problem-solving and technical expertise

  • Title and Salary for this position will be market competitive and commensurate with the candidate's experience


  • Develop, implement and execute a comprehensive social media strategy tailored for each channel and audience, for the company and for the CxOs. Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages

  • Create innovative social media campaigns to increase engagement and brand presence on existing company handles including Facebook, Insta, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Medium, consider new social media platforms as relevant.

  • Post daily original and creative content. Explore content such as infographics, blog posts, polls, memes, CxO insights, etc. Showcase new creative ideas to engage Team Kinara, or our partners. Provide clear instructions to management, partners or team members participating in any videos, oversee the work of video editors, photographers, designers and vendors for any projects relating to social media.

  • Draft witty, insightful social media copy adapting the tone to suit the announcement, research to add relevant hashtags. Edit/Write scripts for social media videos, especially captions and videos for YouTube.

  • Run specific lead-gen campaigns or influencer campaigns to support advertising and SEO efforts.

  • Track ORM and when appropriate, interact with the audience on our social media handles to engage with them and derive insights

  • Build and execute on a Long-tail Project Calendar to manage postings ahead of time and take input from other teams, primarily including advertising, SEO, PR teams

  • Analyze and report Social Media metrics, put together strategic plans for growth, put together Industry Analysis. Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
