Dinesh Sharma

Dinesh Sharma is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Kinara Capital. He is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology leader with over 26 years of extensive experience in envisioning, executing, and scaling enterprise-scale products, platforms, and initiatives. At Kinara, he is responsible for identifying technology needs that align with the company’s business goals, evaluating emerging technologies, and designing future-forward architecture and solutions to drive digital innovation and business growth.

Throughout his career, Dinesh has played key roles in leading product architecture and engineering strategies, resulting in significant improvements in system scalability, reliability, and performance in the Banking, Financial, Insurance, and Retail/Consumer Goods domains. His expertise includes the application of formal innovation and design thinking methodologies, enterprise architecture, technology & digital transformation strategy, and enhancing data security. He has a strong background in enterprise software architecture, design, and development, with proficiency in AI/ML, open-source frameworks & tools, cloud, and messaging channel domains.

Prior to his role at Kinara, Dinesh served as a Distinguished Engineer and Architect at Gupshup Technologies, where he led the architecture of innovative Conversational Experience (CX) platforms and was instrumental in creating scalable and reliable systems to enhance customer engagement. He also co-founded AskSid.ai Technologies and served as its CTO. He played a pivotal role in the development and global deployment of a proprietary AI SaaS product tailored for the retail industry. His extensive experience encompasses various other roles including Global Chief Architect for Digital Business at Mindtree Limited, where he led enterprise-scale initiatives for global clients, established Centers of Excellence, and drove the adoption of emerging technologies.

Dinesh holds a Master of Computer Applications degree and a Bachelor of Science from Delhi University.
