Parthasarathy N. S. (Partha) is a seasoned technology and leadership expert, with over 35 years of experience in the IT sector.

Currently, Partha is the Managing Partner and Investment Committee Member at Mela Ventures, an early-stage startup fund dedicated to fostering tech entrepreneurship and solving real-world problems. Prior to this, he spent over two decades at the helm of Mindtree, a global technology consulting and digital solutions company, where he served as Vice Chairman and COO at different times, taking it from a startup phase to crossing the $1 billion revenue milestone.

Before co-founding Mindtree, Partha spent 14 years in Wipro’s global research and development (R&D) team, working on various technology products and services. He also served on the NASSCOM IT Services Council for four years, where he worked towards enabling startups to work closely with larger IT players to gain market access.

Partha’s extensive experience in mentoring startups spans technology strategy, positioning strategy for selling to enterprises, organizational structure and culture for growth, and personnel choices. His unique background in mathematics and computer science has positioned him to lead innovation pivoted on new-age technologies such as AI/ML and Cognitive Computing.

Partha is well-known for his philanthropic nature and was a Founding Director of the WeLive Foundation which supports young orphans transitioning out of childcare institutions. He has previously also served as the Director for the White Swan Foundation for mental health.

He holds an M.Sc (Hons) in Mathematics from BITS Pilani and an M.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur. In 2010, Partha completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard Business School. He was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award by BITS in 2016.
