Apart from that, Kinara appreciates and recognises one of their employees every week through employee spotlight for their best performance. This week, we have the story of Dinesh, a collection officer from Trichy. Let’s see how he excelled in his career after joining Kinara Capital.
Dinesh Kumar joined Kinara nearly 4 years ago. Now he is working as a collection officer in the Deputy Manager level. He likes riding his bike, that’s why he chose fieldwork. After he finished his studies, he joined a company where all the work was done at the office. He chose this job because it gives him a chance to travel on his bike and he is also constantly learning new things. Now, he is able to pick up new things and expand his knowledge.
Even though he has several years of experience in collections, his journey at Kinara has been entirely different. He has always had a knack for interacting with customers and truly enjoyed his position as a collection officer, skillfully managing collections.
During his time with Kinara, Dinesh has gained a lot of knowledge about how to acquire customers. He received a lot of support from his managers. The Regional Sales Manager, the Collection Manager and the Branch Manager all helped him a lot to learn various skills. They work together to help the hub gain and retain customers.
Dinesh Kumar’s favourite spot to visit is Vanvas Village in the Ariyalur district. He travels there and explores rivers, forests and meets up with his old friends. He enjoys spending time with them whenever he has time, which makes him very happy. Apart from travelling, he enjoys watching movies and taking long drives.
When we asked him what he liked most about Kinara, he answered, "I work for a very good company as I see that customers taking unsecured loans are able to grow. In the same way, being part of this growing company makes me feel proud. Thanks for all the opportunities Kinara.”
He was able to obtain a comprehensive picture of the customer's history before approaching them for collections. He could quickly identify potential pain points and collaborate with them to find solutions. Gaining these insights has strengthened Dinesh's ability to assist each customer by properly understanding their business and situation. He has also regularly learnt new things at Kinara, which he attributes to helpful management, which begins with his direct supervisors and extends all the way up to senior management.
