Rajendra joined Kinara in 2017 as an executive in Business Operations at the company’s head office in Bengaluru, and in the years since, he has worked his way up to the role of deputy manager in the Credit department. He had been motivated to join the company because it offered significant learning and growth opportunities, and in his time here, he has made the most of the conducive environment.
In his current role, Rajendra conducts regular reviews of business requirement documents, carries out business testing, and also works on data instructions and data cuts. He takes pride in not only working hard, but also working smart to hit all his targets.
Rajendra’s greatest achievement at Kinara was helping the Business Operations team carry out disbursements of Rs. 32 crores in a single day! Aside from hitting professional goals, Rajendra also loves the spirit of Kinara, and fondly remembers excitedly chanting the company’s name with a plane full of his colleagues on the way back from a very successful annual meet held in Hyderabad.
He shares, “Kinara has a very open culture and friendly atmosphere, which facilitates easy interactions and collaborations across teams. I really appreciate the fact that I can reach out to anyone across the organizations to get answers or support if I need it. I also love interacting with members of the field team, because I get to learn something new every time I do. Rajendra is an ace on the cricket pitch. He’s an opening batsman, and still seized every opportunity to play the sport. Recently, when he participated in the Kinara Cricket League, he had his manager as a teammate. He also wowed everyone by scoring 3 consecutive boundaries!
The place he likes to visit the most is his own village, but Ooty, Kodaikanal and Coorg are also on his list of favourites because he loves the greenery these destinations have to offer. He loved unwinding by driving his car in the early morning on the roads of Coorg while listening to soothing music, and he considers it the best travel experience he has ever had.
