Kusuma joined Kinara back in 2018 in the role of a Central Legal Specialist in the Legal Department at our Head Office in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Not only has she had the chance to glean a lot of knowledge and information within Kinara, but she has also had plenty of exposure to learn from external sources during her time at the company. She works closely with experts, getting a thorough understanding of new legal processes and protocols and coordinates with the field team to finalize data regarding the legal notices.
She believes in bringing a high degree of honesty to every aspect of her life, both personal and professional, and her dedication has helped her grow quickly in her time at Kinara. She joined as a senior officer, and now occupies the position of manager, which she considers her greatest achievement.
In the years since Kusuma joined Kinara, she has seen the company undergo a series of transformations as it adapted to a fast-changing landscape, further accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic and its aftermath. The best part of her experience at Kinara was working with her team to figure out how digitization can streamline internal processes and how it should be implemented to benefit coordination between the corporate office and the field teams spread across 125 branches.
She shares, “Kinara is a fast-growing company that offers an excellent environment in which to work and grow your career. My greatest achievement at this organization has been rising from the role of a senior officer to becoming a manager. I particularly enjoy the data analysis part of my job and coordinating with the field team to troubleshoot any issues they might have, and I love the fact that all my colleagues are so supportive and helpful!”
Kusuma has a penchant for fashion design. She has a tailoring machine at home and spends her free time coming up with beautiful new designs and patterns. Lately, she has discovered that social media platforms are an excellent way of discovering new designs and techniques, and she looks up videos on platforms like YouTube, so that she can replicate the designs herself, adding her own special flair. She also loves to cook.
Her favourite destination is the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, with their untouched beauty and natural wonders, she hopes to visit them someday.
