Harshit Arora joined Kinara Capital close to 2 years ago as a fresher, and has since been working on multiple different projects in the Corporate Marketing team. He has gained a wealth of learning and experience in the process, and gathered additional skills by collaborating with other teams for tasks.
He has quickly taken to the collaborative environment at Kinara, and really appreciates the fact that the company allows employees to experiment and find their own strengths, as well as bring new ideas to the table. Working with a supportive team has allowed him to come up with new and innovative solutions to problems and take the lead on projects fairly early in his career.
Harshit’s favourite project so far has been the process of selecting and onboarding a brand ambassador for Kinara within the span of just 3 months. As cricketing champion Ravindra Jadeja became the face of Kinara, Harshit led the project from the front and helped make it possible for his team to pull it off within the tight deadline. He was able to troubleshoot and take care of the logistics to make the process smooth for such a high-profile sportsperson, with the support of his team.
He shares, “One of the best things about Kinara is the people of the company. They are positive, creative, and very supportive. Having such a dynamic and encouraging team to work with has not only added colour and enrichment to my experience, but has also given me an immense amount of confidence. I’m very happy to be part of Team Kinara!”
Harshit has always loved playing a number of sports. He is especially fond of cricket and is an all-rounder. He has been playing cricket since he was a kid, but even now, when the opportunity arises, he jumps in to play with equal gusto. He donned the captain hat for one of the teams for the Kinara Cricket League recently, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was also a bonding exercise that let him spend time with his own team, as well as friends from across other teams.
His favourite destination is Goa, and he would love to go and sit in front of the beach and spend hours just chilling if he could. The sparkling blue ocean, beautiful beaches and relaxed vibe of Goa make it the perfect destination for him.
